In the meantime, solar technology is considered to be the cheapest energy source and has thus also outstripped fossil fuels in economic terms. Innovative solutions are also entering the market, especially in the area of PV modules, or in the form of bifacial or heterojunction cells and inverters. But which technologies will shape the industry in the short and medium term? What do they look like in concrete terms? And will we see a sustainable development on the European market?
