Dr. Steffen Herz is an attorney and partner at von Bredow, Valentin and Herz Attorneys at Law in Berlin. He advises on all legal issues relating to the generation, storage, supply and consumption of electricity from renewable energies. His main areas of expertise are the support of PV projects, decentralized energy and mobility concepts as well as energy trading. In addition to his work, he has published numerous articles on renewable energy law and regularly gives lectures.

As Policy & Solar Technology Officer at the German Solar Industry Association (BSW-Solar), Christian Menke is responsible for photovoltaic topics since December 2019. Before that, he worked almost three years at the Federal Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses, and was responsible for energy policy and sustainability. After completing his B.A. in political science and economics at the University of Göttingen, he earned a master's degree in political science from the Free University of Berlin.

Thorsten Müller is founder and scientific director of the Stiftung Umweltenergierecht. His research focuses, among other things, on European and national renewable energy law. He regularly advises the German federal government as well as state governments and has served several times as an expert witness in the German Bundestag and in various state parliaments. In addition, he is active as an author, editor and lecturer.
