The German Solar Association (Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft e. V.) represents the interests of the solar
technology and battery storage industry in Germany and in key international markets. As a strong association made up of over 1,000 companies from across the entire solar value chain, BSW provides its members with valuable information, promotes market access and facilitates between business, politics and the general public. BSW acts as advocate for the solar industries in the electricity, heating
and mobility sectors.

For almost 50 years now, the association has been working successfully to ensure that solar energy is a mainstay
of energy supply. BSW plays a key role in the creation and safeguarding of suitable framework conditions for the
expansion of solar energy, and helps to ensure greater investment security. Headquartered in Berlin and maintaining effective connections to Brussels, the organization guarantees its members a seat at the table when policy decisions are shaped.

In addition to well-known manufacturers of state-of-theart solar technology system components, the association’s members include storage and battery manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers, project planners, system operators and countless suppliers, service providers, public utilities, insurers and banks.
