Challenges and Solutions for the Integration of Large-Scale Solar Generation Technologies in Brazil

The panel discussed solutions for the Brazilian electricity sector, focusing on the integration of solar technologies on a large scale and the challenge of “constrained off”, which forces cuts in solar plant production. It was proposed to combine solar generation with other technologies such as batteries or hydropower to improve energy management.
