Understanding the Perspectives of PV System Owners & Planners in Germany – eMobility
In Germany, there is a noticeable trend towards renewable energy solutions for the home sector. EUPD Reaserch's second part of the short study takes a closer look at German homeowners who have invested in or are planning to invest in Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and charging stations. Over the past year, the possibility of solar-optimized charging has gained in importance as an investment motive and is now as important as low-cost charging at home. This shift underscores the growing awareness of the benefits of connecting solar PV systems and charging stations in homes across the country. When it comes to manufacturers, participants showed clear preferences and cited important reasons for not recommending a certain BEV and charging station brand.
