Charging Infrastructure and Charging Use Cases at a Glance – Market Segmentation, Charging Personas, Success Factor

Webinar Collection

Attention, dear CPOs, EMPs and manufacturers of charging systems. How can the market for charging technology and services be segmented? Competition in the charging technology and service market is increasing massively. Those who know how to segment the target groups and know the willingness to pay will significantly improve their competitive position.

Private and company charging: Based on the survey of over 1,000 EV drivers, the market researchers at Uscale developed a proposal for market segmentation and derived charging personas for these segments. Additionally, in a second study of wallbox owners and shoppers, they developed the price elasticity for wall chargers and their technical features.

Public charging: Cirrantic monitors the market developments in the public charging domain for many years now. The facts about the necessity and success factors for public charging uses case provide solid grounds for myth busting and decision making around charging types and location selection.

The webinar provides information on the following questions:

  • How do EV drivers charge? How can the market be segmented?
  • Which charging personas are relevant for vendors of charging technology and charging services?
  • How high is the willingness to pay and the price elasticity for wallbox features?
  • What does success in public charging for each domain AC / DC / HPC / onstreet / offstreet / enroute / convenience mean? What are typical vs. very good utilization rates. What drives the market development? And, what are the evolving success factors for public charging businesses?
